Call to Order/Roll Call

• The June 23, 2021 special called board meeting was called to order by Eunice Johnson Rogers at 12:06 p.m.
• Eunice Johnson Rogers provided the Invocation.

Recommendation for BPL employees to receive the premium payment recommended by Mayor Woodfin and approved by the City Council and Jefferson County Personnel Board.

• Eunice Johnson Rogers presented Mayor Woodfin’s recommendation for BPL employees to receive the premium pay approved by the City Council and Jefferson County Personnel Board. Full time employees will receive a one-time premium payment of $5000 for their continued service during the pandemic. Part-time employees will receive a one-time premium payment of $2500 for their continued service during the pandemic. Employees will receive their premium payment between June 25 and June 30, 2021.
  • Eunice Johnson Rogers called for a motion to accept the recommendation of the one-time premium payment for full-time and part-time employees.
  • Lynn Flowers-Martin motioned to accept the recommendation of the one-time premium payment for full-time and part-time employees.
  • James Sullivan seconded the motion.
  • The Board responded unanimously in favor to approve the motion.
  • Eunice Johnson Rogers confirmed the motion carried.
