To register as an Adult you will need:

- If your photo ID doesn't contain your current address, include a photograph of a bill/mail with your name and address.
To register for a Minor you will need:

If you are age 14 or under, you will need a photograph of a government-issued photo ID belonging to a Parent/Guardian.
- If Parent's/Guardian's photo ID doesn't contain their current address, include a photograph of a bill/mail with their name and address.
- Minors age 15 – 17 may use a photograph of their government-issued photo ID (with current address).

Non-Residents of Jefferson County are required to pay an annual fee of $50.00 before account will be activated. Residents of Hoover within Shelby County are exempt from this fee.
College students living on campus within Jefferson County must include a photo ID and proof of their residency on campus. College students living off campus within Jefferson county must include a photo ID and proof of their current residence off campus. No fee is required.
