All databases are available in every branch of the Birmingham Public Library, unless otherwise noted. A JCLC library card can be used to access many of the databases, however licensing restrictions force us to limit access to certain databases to residents of Birmingham.

AtoZ Maps Online to its online reference offerings. This new library resource is the world’s largest database of downloadable, royalty-free maps for student and library patron use. More than 100,000 maps are available in 48 categories. Users will find world, regional, country, and state maps as well as environmental, climate, antique and other maps. The database also contains extensive teaching tools for educators with lesson plans. It even has interactive video guides for state, country, and world geography. AtoZ Maps Online was designed for libraries, educators, businesses, travelers and anyone who needs a royalty-free map for school and other projects.
