The Powderly Branch Library is a conjoined structure with Wiggins Park Recreation Center. The present building was erected in 1979 and renovated in 2010.

• From I-65 South take Greensprings Avenue exit.
• Travel west on Greensprings (becomes Dennison Avenue).
• At Jefferson Avenue, bear left.
• Make another left onto 31st St. S.W. Cross railroad tracks and bear right.
• Continue on Jefferson until you see Wiggins Park & Recreation Center on left.
• Library next to Recreation Center.
