1. 520-2-2-.03(2)(f)6:
   The Library will undertake reasonable efforts to avoid the selection, purchase, or otherwise acquire any materials advertised for consumers under the age of 18 which contain obscenity, sexually explicit or other material deemed inappropriate for children or youth by the public library board. Age-appropriate materials regarding religion, history, and biology of human anatomy should not be construed to be against this rule.
   
   
2. 520-2-2-.03(f)11:
   The Library shall exercise discretion in the location of sexually explicit material or other material deemed by the public library board to be inappropriate for children or youth under the age of 18.
   
   
3. 520-2-2-.03(2)(f)12:
   Materials officially recommended, displayed or otherwise actively promoted to children or youth under the age of 18 shall require advance approval by the public library board.
   
   
4. 520-2-2-.03(2)(i)
   Library sections designated for minors under the age of 18 shall remain free of material containing obscenity, sexually explicit or other material deemed inappropriate for children or youth by the public library board. Age-appropriate materials regarding religion, history, biology or human anatomy should not be construed to be against this rule.
   
   
5. 520-2-2-.03(2)(j) [See item #1 above]

6. 520-2-2-.03(2)(k)
   Library cards for minors under the age of 18 shall require parental approval before a minor's card is permitted to check out materials from the library's physical and electronic collection.
   
   
7. 520-2-2(8)
   Any expenditure of public funds to the American Library Association must be approved by the library board in an open, public meeting following advance public notice.
