Anderson Ranch Arts Center
Anderson Ranch located in Snowmass, Colorado aims to "nurture and inspire imaginations of all ages, encouraging experimentation, intensive inquiry and creative production" through a wide variety of workshops.
Arrowmont School of Arts & Crafts
Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts is a nationally renowned center of contemporary arts and crafts education located in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Workshops are offered for one and two weeks in the spring and summer, and one-week and weekends in the fall.
Haystack Mountain School of Crafts
Haystack Mountain School of Crafts is an international craft school located on the Atlantic Ocean in Deer Isle, Maine. The school offers intensive studio-based workshops in a variety of craft media. Penland School of Crafts
Penland is a national center for craft education dedicated to helping people live creative lives. Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, Penland offers one-, two-, and eight-week workshops in books & paper, clay, drawing, glass, iron, metals, photography, printmaking and letterpress, textiles, and wood. The school also sponsors artists' residencies, community education programs, and a craft gallery. (from website)
Peters Valley Crafts Center
Peters Valley is located in the picturesque Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area removed from the bustle of the everyday world, yet it is located but a short drive from New York and other major East Coast cities. PV offers 2 - 5 day workshops in areas such as blacksmithing, ceramics, fibers, and woodworking. The workshops are taught by nationally and internationally recognized and accomplished artisans in their fields.
