The Legal Self Help subject guide provides a listing of databases, websites, and other library resources that can be used to meet information needs such as locating an attorney, researching a legal question, or finding a legal form.

FindLaw is a business of Thomson Reuters that provides online legal information. The FindLaw Legal Dictionary provides free access to over 8260 definitions of legal terms.
The Alabama Access to Justice website was created to provide legal information and resources to Alabamians. The website contains self-help handouts on specific legal issues, do-it-yourself court forms, and basic information about the legal system. You can also find lawyers and legal advice clinics in your area.
